Avi was walking with his father in Miami and asked how many coconuts a palm tree can produce.   “Sorry, I don’t know,” his father said.  A few moments later, Avi asked: “אבא, how deep does the sand at the beach go?”  Again, his father said he doesn’t know.  In another few moments, Avi asked when the boardwalk was first built.   And again, his father said he doesn’t know.  “Sorry for bothering you with all these questions,” Avi said.  “That’s all right,” his father responded, “It’s good you ask.  If you don’t ask, how will you know?”
