A Jew visiting a kibbutz saw a farmer feeding milk to a cow and afterwards milking the cow. “How much of you milk does the cow drink each day?” he asked. 14 liters, the kibbutznik responded. “And how much milk does it produce?” he asked. 14 liters, the kibbutznik responded again. “Well,” said the visitor, “isn’t it all pointless?” “No,” the farmer answered. “I give it חלב עכו״ם and it produces חלב ישראל.”
