A man who enjoyed his wine, once said: “I must confess that I don’t envy anyone, except for שלמה המלך. And not because of his great wisdom or wealth. What I’m jealous of is his כוס ברכה. Before drinking from it, he had to give some to each of his 1,000 wives and then, as required, he drank רוב כוס. So just imagine what the שיעור of that כוס was.”
