After being married for more than 50 years, Chaim came to his רב and said he wants a Get. Surprised, the רב asked Chaim why he wants a divorce. “There have always been some issues between us, like any married couple,” Chaim answered. “But lately, its become unbearable.” The רב probed further and asked for an example. “My wife has always harassed me about my noshing. In the past few months, however, she’s been stealing my dentures from the glass besides the bed. If I don’t get a Get, I’m going to die of hunger!”
