The מלמד was teaching his students מסכת ביצה, when they got to the גמרא in which רב אביא סבא asked a question of רב הונא, which he was not prepared to answer and therefore sought to change the subject by exclaiming עורבא פרח, a raven flew by. When a student asked what עורבא פרח means, the מלמד looked in רש״י, which says: עורב הפורח למעלה השיאו לדבר אחר. He explained to the boy that דבר אחר refers to חזיר that the raven gave his wife.
