חגיגה כו

A group of חסידים were sitting before their רבי when he asked his גבאי to bring wine to the table.  The גבאי apologized that there was no more wine in the house.  He then approached one of the חסידים, who was a miserly גביר, and succeeded in getting him to give him the money to buy wine.  Seeing this, the רבי quietly said to the גבאי, “You are greater than even משה רבינו.”  Explaining, he said: “משה רבינו הוציא מן הסלע רק מים; ואילו אתה הוצאת מן הסלע יין.”
