When the military draft was still in effect, a young man went for his physical and pretended to be nuts.  It worked!  He was exempted from military service.  Hearing this, a neighbor whose son was also subject to the draft told the young man that he would give him $100 to teach his son how to act nuts. The young man agreed and taught the neighbor’s son.  Unfortunately, however, the lessons were for naught.  The neighbor’s son was drafted.  His father complained that the young man obviously failed in imparting his knowledge.  “No,” the young man replied, “to act nuts, you have to be a little crazy to begin with.”
