A תלמיד חכם had a very happy marriage.  His wife, חיה, was a good, kind and devoted wife.  Unfortunately, חיה got sick and died young.  The תלמיד חכם then married his wife’s sister, ברכה, who was the opposite of her deceased sister: mean and bitter.  The תלמיד חכם once told her: “It’s ironic. Your sister’s name was חיה, but she was a ברכה; your name is ברכה, but you’re a חיה.”
