“Why does a get take so long?” the husband said to the רב. “I want a get immediately!” As soon as his wife was handed the get, however, the husband walked over to his ex-wife and said to her “Will you marry me?” The רב thought he was nuts. “Why did you want the get if you now want to remarry her?” The husband explained to him “As a first wife she was terrible. But as a second wife she’s okay.”
