An average looking boy from a poor family approached a שדכן to help find him a match.  “I’ve got just the girl for you,” the שדכן said.  “She’s beautiful, comes from a very wealthy family and is the descendant of a long line of תלמידי חכמים.”  “Sounds great,” the boy said.  “In fact it sounds too good.  Why would a girl like that want a boy like me.  She’d have to be crazy!”  To which the שדכן responded:  “Well, you can’t have everything.”
