Seeing a look of pain on a man’s face, his friend asked him what’s wrong. “My shoes are pinching my foot,” he replied. Surprised, his friend asked why he didn’t go and buy another pair. The man replied: “My wife is cranky, my children are sick, my business is going under, and the only pleasure I have each day is when I come home and take off my shoes. And you want me to give up even this small pleasure!”
