When ר׳ יהושע השיל שור stood in front of a store window, using it as a mirror to fix his tie, one of his disputants saw him and said: “Why are you looking at yourself as if looking in a mirror, הרי חז״ל אמרו אסור להסתכל בפני אדם רשע.” The רבי replied: “You’re a בהמה and not an אדם. Because if you were an אדם, you would know that אין אדם משים עצמו רשע.”
