An Israeli bought a newspaper and paid three שקלים. “Excuse me,” the seller said, “but the price of the paper is five שקלים.” The buyer, however, insisted that the price was three. “Look here,” the seller countered, “right on the front page of the paper it says the price is five שקלים.” To which the buyer responded: “And do you really believe that everything in the newspaper is true?”
