A widower decided to marry a widow who had no מעלות other than the money that she inherited from her first husband. The רב asked him “Don’t you know that the ספרים bring down that anyone who marries a woman for money will ultimately say ברוך דיין האמת?” Smiling, the widower said: “I know. But I prefer to say the ברכה of ברוך דיין האמת on others than to be עני חשוב כמת and have others say the ברכה on me.”
