A בר מצוה boy was doing a סיום מסכת at his בר מצוה סעודה. Among the guests was a group who weren’t listening to the דרשה. Instead, they were eating and drinking from the foods arrayed on the buffet table. A רב approached them and said: רואה אני, רבותי, שאתם מעדיפים את השולחן ערוך על הגמרא.”
