A sad looking little man, wearing dark glasses and holding a battered tin cup in his hand, poked his way along the street, saying: “Help the blind! Help the blind!” An elderly woman passed by. “Oh, you poor man,” she said as she dropped some coins into his cup. “Lady,” said the grateful beggar, “the minute I took a look at you, I knew you had a kind heart.”
