נזיר מג

A מגיד once came to speak at the בית מדרש of רבי אייזל חריף. He spoke דברים תפלים וחסרי טעם. Worse, he just kept on going for what seemed like forever. When he was finally done, he went over to the רבי and asked what he thought. רבי אייזל told him “You’re doing better than a גוסס.” Not understanding what this meant, he asked the רבי to explain. “When a גוסס is מסיים, people are sad,” the רבי said. “But when you were מסיים, people were happy.”
