When רבי חיים סולוביציג was eight years old, his father, רבי יוסי-בר, said: “The גמרא teaches: מחשבה טובה מצרפה (הקדוש ברוך הוא) למעשה. That means that if a good question comes into my mind, it’s as if I’ve asked it. So, I’d like you to go ahead and answer it.” The young boy responded: “A good answer has come into my mind. Thus, it’s as if I’ve answered it.”
