The גמרא says ארבעה אבות נזיקין. A רב של פורים commented: “The four אבות refer to four people who tried to inflict damage on the Jewish people. The שור refers to עשו, as it says: שור אוכל עשב. The בור refers to בלעם about whom it is said בלעם בן בעור. The מבעה refers to לבן, as it’s stated לבן שנים מחלב. The ההבער is a reference to המן, as the פסוק says: ויסר המלך טבעתו אשר העביר מהמן.”
