A father had too much to drink and in a fit of anger hit his married daughter. The poor girl cried: “Isn’t it enough that my husband beats me? Now my father beats me as well.” Embarrassed, the father said: “It wasn’t you that I intended to hit. It was directed at your husband. He hits my daughter, so I hit his wife.”
