A dog walking in the forest sensed a leopard moving towards him to have him as his lunch. This was one smart dog. He immediately picked up a stray bone from the ground and, sitting with his back facing the leopard, said: “That was a delicious leopard. But I’m hungry for more. I hope there is another leopard nearby.” Hearing this, the leopard quickly turned around and ran the other way. However, a monkey who heard and saw what happened figured that he could make an ally out of the leopard. He ran to tell him the truth. The furious leopard told the monkey to get on his back. “Just wait and see what I’m going to do to that dog,” the leopard said. The dog was sitting calmly as he saw the leopard and monkey approaching him. Instead of running, he loudly said: “Where is that monkey? It’s already half an hour since I sent him to get me another leopard.”
