Tommy was serving time in a federal penitentiary when he received a letter from his father saying that he was getting old and no longer had the strength to plant the vegetable garden. Tommy wrote back: “Sorry, I can’t be there to help you out, but don’t dig up the garden. That’s where I hid the money.” Four days later, Tommy received another letter from his father. “The police showed up even before I received your letter. They dug up the entire garden. Thanks, Dad.”
