The גמרא tells us that רבה בר בר חנה heard a voice rising from the spot where קורח and his followers were swallowed by the earth. The voice said משה ותורתו אמת, והן בדאין. R’ אייזל חריף observed that from this we see that even in גיהנום the רשעים are not חוזרים בתשובה. After saying משה ותורתו אמת, they immediately added והן בדאין, that is what we said is a lie.
