Rav אריה לייב הסבא משפולי had a חסיד by the name of לייביש, who told the רבי that his wife was critically ill and if she should חס ושלום die, he will not be able to care for his children without a wife.  “There is a woman who would be a great mother for the children,” he said. “But I’m concerned that in the interim she might marry someone else.  So I want to know whether I can indicate my intentions to her.”  The רבי told him to wait.  A week later לייבוש returned and told the רבי that his wife had a miraculous recovery and was back on her feet.  The רבי observed: רבות מחשבות בלייביש ועצת השם היא תקום.
