A שמש asked the Shul president for a raise. “I work 25 hours a day,” he said. “How could you work 25 hours?” the president asked, “there are only 24 hours in a day.” “So what?” the שמש responded. “Ask any of the people here and they will tell you that I’m here at least an hour before נץ החמה every day.”
