Where in the תורה is there support for the proposition that when taking something you should do so with a full hand, but when giving you should do so sparingly? The תורה says taking should be with a full measure: ולקח מלא המחתה ומלא חפניו. As to giving, it states: והזה באצבעו ויתן על קרנות המזבח סביב באצבעו.
